Update: Amazon has matched most of Best Buy’s iMac pricing. Save $125 plus potential tax savings for some at the time of purchase.
As part of their 2-day sale, Best Buy (And Amazon!) is slashing $125 off every configuration of the current generation iMac with free shipping. The 21.5″ model with a 1TB hard drive, 8GB RAM and 2.7GHz processor starts at just $1,175. That is just $25 over the lowest price ever for this model.
The 27″ models start at just $1,675. Price drops for the 27″ version are much less common so if you’re in the market for one it may be a good time to pull the trigger. The new iMac line was introduced late last year and is not rumored to be updated next week at WWDC, but if Apple does refresh the iMac these purchases will be protected under Best Buy’s return policy.
